Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a dedicated team in a skilled nursing setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for geriatric care, hold a valid state license, and be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapies, documenting progress, and participating in patient care planning with IDT meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and implements respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiates therapies and maintains patient records and equipment.
• Performs bedside treatments and staff in-services quarterly.
• Completes daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
