Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is seeking a Relief Cook to join our weekend team. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our scratch-based kitchen and deliver meals that meet high standards of quality and presentation.

You will also connect with residents, guests and staff to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere each weekend. The role emphasizes weekend availability, food preparation experience, adherence to safety practices, and strong teamwork in a resort-style community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work every Saturday and Sunday, at least 8 hours per day.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking, preferred.
• Food handler permits may be required within two weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high‑quality dishes for residents using various cooking methods.
• Maintain clean, organized stations and assist in meal service during shifts.
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and team duties for a smooth service line.
• Monitor temperatures and sanitation to ensure food safety and resident satisfaction.
