Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Relief Cook to cover Saturdays and Sundays in a scratch-based kitchen. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring meals are safely cooked, visually appealing, and portioned to resident preferences.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking is preferred.
• Ability to secure appropriate food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes by cooking a wide variety of proteins and vegetables.
• Engage in continuous improvement by contributing ideas and staying open to feedback.
• Complete all opening and closing tasks for each shift and support teammates to maintain a clean, safe kitchen.
• Keep stations stocked and organized, refresh pantry items, and monitor refrigeration.
