Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a weekend Relief Cook to join our scratch‑based kitchen. You’ll prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays, while building positive relationships with residents and staff in a warm, resort‑style environment.

We value teamwork and safety, and you will help maintain high quality and presentation, ensuring meals meet resident preferences and standards throughout each weekend shift.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays, at least 8 hours per day.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking, preferred.
• Ability to secure food handler permits within two weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high‑quality dishes using broiling, grilling, frying, and sautéing.
• Contribute ideas in meetings and support service line during meal hours.
• Complete opening and closing tasks and assist teammates to keep a clean, safe kitchen.
• Keep stations stocked and organized, monitor refrigeration and pantry freshness.
• Ensure sanitary kitchen environment and monitor temperatures for safety.
