Responsibilities

• Operate multiline telephone and paging system.
• Answer incoming calls, determine the nature of the call and route to the appropriate party.
• Greet and direct visitors, ensure sign-in, and manage visitor access as needed.
• Support multiple departments with general office/clerical tasks.
• Handle mail distribution and express mail coordination.
• Report resident and facility concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain lists of residents, staff extensions and key personnel.
• Protect resident information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Keep lobby and work area clean and hazard-free.
• Escalate hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families and staff.
• Attend departmental meetings and trainings as directed.
• Respond to special requests from residents and families.
