Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Bellevue, WA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our communities safe and comfortable. You'll perform routine building maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and floor care, and address service requests promptly.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience in senior housing or similar settings, is organized, customer-focused, and able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years maintenance/handyman experience in senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting.
• Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.
• Friendly, professional demeanor and safety-focused.
• Experience with basic repairs including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and landscaping is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and floor care.
• Address maintenance requests promptly and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventories; document work performed.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new residents.
• Coordinate with local inspectors and ensure work complies with codes.
• Maintain customer-friendly communication with residents and staff.
