Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to keep our high-energy convenience store running smoothly on each shift in Dubach, LA. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, and guide a team focused on excellent customer service and upselling.

The role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, with a likelihood of second or third shifts. Experience in retail leadership and a Food Safety Certification are assets as you grow toward store-management

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service and support daily store operations.
• Demonstrate leadership to motivate staff and ensure smooth shifts.
• Handle cash, deposits, and daily financials with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment and facilities.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and oversee store financials.
