Job summary

GPM Investments, Dixie Mart store in Louisiana, seeks an Assistant Manager to support daily operations, run the register, and lead a service-driven team. Open availability is required; expect weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts as part of a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist with inventory, scheduling, training, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store while driving customer satisfaction and store performance.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Food Safety Certification required or obtainable.
• 21+ years old

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
