Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Charleston, MO is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run our high-energy convenience store. You will support the Store Manager, manage cash handling, and lead a team on weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts.

You will supervise daily operations, assist customers, and coach staff to upsell promotions while maintaining a clean, safe store and accurate inventory and deposits. Growth into Store Manager roles is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to support Store Manager in daily operations.
• Strong customer service mindset and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate your team.
• Other duties as assigned
