Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store to lead daily operations and customer service across shifts. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach the team, and manage staffing, inventory, and merchandising while ensuring a clean, welcoming store environment and strong financial practices.

Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is required, with second or third shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or supervision.
• Must be 21+ years old and have valid driver’s license.
• Food Safety Certification required or able to obtain.
• Excellent English communication and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and customer service.
• Run the register with speed, accuracy, and a positive attitude.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules.
• Handle cash deposits and store finances.
• Provide leadership feedback to the team.
• Other duties as assigned.
