Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare Incorporated is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients, perform radiographic procedures, and present images to Radiologists for interpretation. You will support the clinical education of students and coordinate with the Radiology team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, managing equipment and supplies, and documenting procedures for timely billing.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology; if registry-eligible at time of hire, must pass within one year.
• Completion of accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License is required for all outpatient facilities.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Three years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiology examinations by confirming orders and verifying identities.
• Perform radiology examinations on all patient age groups and maintain competency.
• Adhere to departmental policies and safety protocols to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain imaging systems competency (iSite PACs, syngo, Soarian).
• Monitors inventory of supplies to prevent service interruption.
