Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certified or eligible in Radiologic Technology.
• Completion of accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License required for outpatient facilities.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• Three years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiology examinations by confirming orders and verifying identities.
• Perform radiology procedures on all age groups with clinical competency.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Supervise and instruct students; support radiology cross-training programs.
• Monitor inventory to ensure uninterrupted services and support performance improvement initiatives.
