Job summary

135 Aurora Health Care Southern Lakes, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist for the Weekend Program. The role features a three-day schedule with 12.5-hour shifts (Sat–Mon) and a weekend incentive pay structure in a small community hospital setting.

You will perform general radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and effective communication with patients and staff. Prior licensing and BLS are required within six months.

Qualifications

• Licensed radiographer in Wisconsin and ARRT-RT registration; BLS for Healthcare Providers within 6 months.
• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain clinical history; ensure patient understanding and safety.
• Position patients, select exposure factors, protect patient radiation, and process images for quality.
• Assist and consult with radiologists; maintain records and billable codes in the HIS/RIS.
• Meet age-specific care needs and follow department policies and procedures.
