Job summary

Advocate Health at Aurora West Allis Medical Center is seeking a full-time Weekend Program CT Technologist II to join our imaging team. The role features a 36-hour weekend schedule with shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate CT equipment, assist Radiologists, manage contrast administration, and contribute to ongoing education and staff mentoring within a collaborative, patient-focused

Qualifications

• Radiographer license (state of Wisconsin)
• ARRT RT registration and ARRT CT registration
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months
• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology
• Typically requires 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and radiation safety

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to perform basic to advanced diagnostic procedures.
• Scrub CT guided invasive procedures, angiography, cardiac, venography, PET/CT and 3D reformatting as needed.
• Acquire patient history, verify requisitions, ensure exam accuracy and radiation safety.
