Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the AMC Summit - Radiology department. This full-time position requires proficient radiography skills, patient communication, and safety compliance. Weekend schedule Fri–Sun at 0.9 FTE with 12-hour shifts (7a–7:30p), no on-call duties.

Licensure includes Wisconsin Radiographer license and ARRT registration with BLS within 6 months. Advanced radiologic tech training and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Wisconsin radiographer license and ARRT registration, with BLS within 6 months.
• No prior experience required; strong communication skills and patient service.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures and fluoroscopy.
• Explain procedures, obtain history, ensure exam accuracy, and provide patient safety.
• Prepare records, enter data in the radiology system, and ensure correct billing codes.
• Position patients, operate equipment, and maintain radiation safety practices.
