Job summary

NOW Foods in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a Production Supervisor I for the weekend day shift (Fri-Sun, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) to lead a production team and ensure safe, quality, and efficient operations across the 391/395 facilities in Bloomingdale.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree or 3+ years in a GMP manufacturing environment, with prior lead or supervisory experience and proficiency in Word/Excel. Lean practices and safety are prioritized in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree OR at least three years' related experience in a food manufacturing or GMP environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior lead experience and/or supervisory experience in a GMP environment required.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing including 5S and Lean Practices helpful.
• Intermediate Word and Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operation of assigned area to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency.
• Participates in scheduling and communicates daily production schedules to staff.
• Produces and reviews daily production reports and KPI metrics for management.
• Ensures safety, quality, and GMP compliance across shifts and facilities.
• Collaborates with other departments to obtain supplies and resolve issues.
• Leads and coaches team performance with guidance from management.
