Job summary

Hitachi Vantara Corporation seeks a Weekend Shift Production Supervisor to oversee production operations on weekend shifts at our facility. You will lead a manufacturing team, ensure schedules and quality standards, and drive safety and efficiency across the line.

You will monitor output, analyze data, address deviations, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to optimize flow. The role includes coaching staff, preparing reports, and implementing continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers during weekend shifts, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor production output, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions to address any deviations or inefficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures.
• Train, mentor, and motivate production team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Identify and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and personnel conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality control, logistics) to optimize production flow and resolve interdepartmental challenges.
• Prepare and submit accurate production reports, including shift summaries, incident reports, and performance metrics.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods on the production line during weekend shifts.
• Conduct performance reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback.
