Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the Weekend Night Shift (Fri–Sun, 4:30PM–5AM) in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will lead a skilled team responsible for reliability, safety, and uptime across critical production equipment.

You will partner with operations, engineering, quality, and safety to drive maintenance strategies, optimize performance, and support capital projects while developing talent and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Manufacturing/Industrial Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance, manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Previous supervisory or people-management experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across shifts and support weekend operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a maintenance team, fostering safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and safety to prioritize work and meet objectives.
• Drive rapid problem-solving and sustainable corrective actions for equipment performance.
• Promote a safe, compliant work environment through training and audits.
• Monitor maintenance metrics and identify opportunities to improve reliability and asset utilization.
• Support budgeting, labor planning, inventory, and capital improvement initiatives.
• Develop team capabilities through training, coaching, and succession planning.
