Job summary

Eventide Crete in Crete, NE seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to work PRN, weekends and holidays, on-site. The RN delivers prescribed medical care under physician direction and follows comprehensive care plans to support residents.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, documenting care, supervising Med Aides, and educating residents and caregivers. Requires RN/LPN training with active NE license; CPR and vaccines per policy.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English including medical terminology.
• 6 months RN or LPN experience preferred.
• Education: RN or LPN program completion; RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required and vaccines up to Eventide policy.

Responsibilities

• Follow physician orders and record accurately.
• Administer, supervise and document medications and treatments.
• Assess physical, mental and psychosocial status and report changes promptly.
• Monitor skin integrity and prevent pressure ulcers.
• Document care plans and nursing notes timely and accurately.
• Supervise Med Aides and support self-administration of meds.
• Educate residents and caregivers as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive nursing plan of care and update as conditions change.
