Job summary

Eventide Crete in Crete, NE is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work 6a-6:30p, with a weekend and holiday rotation. This role supports residents per the medical plan of care under physician direction.

The RN will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vital signs, document care, supervise Med Aides, and educate residents and caregivers on medication self-administration, while upholding Eventide policies.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, write and understand English including medical terminology.
• Licensed RN or LPN with current Nebraska registration or compact state.
• CPR certification required and vaccination per policy.

Responsibilities

• Follows physician orders and records them per policy.
• Administers or supervises medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assesses physical and psychosocial status and reports changes promptly.
• Observes skin integrity and prevents pressure ulcers.
• Documents care timely and accurately in the medical record.
• Supervises Med Aides and supports comprehensive care plans.
• Educates residents and caregivers on self-administration of medications.
