The Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to fill PRN weekend staffing needs at our facility in Tennessee. The role involves direct patient care, assessment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The PT will develop and administer individualized treatment programs, document progress, and educate patients and families while supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and professional standards.

Qualificações

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid PT license and registration for Tennessee.
• Experience supervising Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred.
• Proficient in patient documentation and progress notes.
• Experience with evaluations, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge summaries.
• Ability to collaborate with other disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Professionalism and reliability with punctuality.

Responsabilidades

• Assess referred patients and provide direct PT care to determine rehab potential.
• Develop and administer treatment plans with goals aligned to physician orders.
• Set realistic goals based on patient capacity and tolerance.
• Document patient status and educate patients and families on PT methods.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and ensure quality of care.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
