Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a private duty role in the Atlanta area. This part-time weekend shift supports patient hygiene, vital signs monitoring, and comfort care in a home-care setting.

Responsibilities include meal preparation, errands, and coordinating with an agency RN for care plans. Ideal candidates have a valid CNA certification, at least one year of healthcare experience, and a commitment to compassionate patient service.

Qualifications

• Minimum education includes high school diploma or equivalent and active CNA certification.
• One year of experience with adults in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Current registration in State Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nurse Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care, dignity, and privacy for patients.
• Obtain vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Follow procedures for medical emergencies and report progress to supervisors.
• Assist with personal hygiene, meals, errands, and light housekeeping.
• Coordinate care with the RN Supervisor and maintain visit records.
