Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the PH Family First pilot in the metro Atlanta area. The role focuses on assisting patients with personal hygiene, observation of conditions, and caregiver support to increase comfort.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, reporting changes, aiding with transfers, meal prep, medication reminders, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active CNA certification.
• Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current CNA registration and valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care, dignity, and privacy for the patient.
• Obtain vital signs for assigned patients.
• Follow procedures for medical emergencies and incidents.
• Report patient progress to supervisory personnel.
• Observe changes in condition and skin integrity.
• Assist with hygiene, meals, errands, and scheduling.
• Support patient transfer, ambulation, and exercise.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and accurate visit records.
• Coordinate care with RN Supervisor and other staff.
