Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the PH Family First division in the metro Atlanta market. The CNA will assist patients with personal hygiene, comfort, and daily activities, while documenting visits and reporting changes to supervision.

Responsibilities include vital signs, safety, medication reminders, and coordination with the RN supervisor. Experience with ensuring dignity and privacy is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Attend a minimum of 12 hours of annual in-service education and provide documentation to the agency.
• Communicate well with patient and family, offering a warm, caring demeanor and professional responses.
• Maintain current license/certification as required by state law.
• Follow safety regulations and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care and assist with personal hygiene, meals, and errands.
• Obtain vitals and report changes to supervisory personnel.
• Coordinate care with RN Supervisor and maintain visit records.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and exercise as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable patient environment.
• Provide reminders for medications and help with scheduling.
