Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM). Join PH Family First, a new division within PruittHealth, to support patient comfort, hygiene, and daily care in a compassionate team.

The role requires active CNA certification, at least one year of healthcare experience, good communication with patients and families, and the ability to document visits accurately.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of practice
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience with adults
• Current registration in State Nurse Aide Registry

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care, dignity and privacy for the patient
• Obtain vital signs of patient(s) assigned
• Follow procedures for handling medical emergencies or other incidents that affect the delivery of services
• Report patient progress and problems to supervisory personnel
• Observe and report any changes in condition, including skin integrity
• Provide comfort care, companion, shopping/errands, meal prepping and related tasks, housekeeping, appointment scheduling, medication reminders services
• Assist with patient transfer, ambulation, and exercise
• Provide personal hygiene to patient(s), including bathing, shaving, oral hygiene, skin care, dressing, toileting, and hair care
• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the patient
• Coordinate care with agency RN Supervisor
• Maintain accurate and current records of visits
• Perform all other duties as assigned
