Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for part-time weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) to join the PH Family First program in the metro Atlanta market.

Responsibilities include providing comfort care, assisting with personal hygiene and daily living activities, taking vital signs, and reporting changes to supervising staff. The role emphasizes patient dignity, confidentiality, safety, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with active CNA certification in the state of practice.
• One year of experience in healthcare with adults.
• Current registration in State Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nurse Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Attend at least 12 hours of annual in-service education and provide documentation.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and reporting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care, dignity and privacy for the patient.
• Obtain vital signs of patient(s) assigned.
• Follow procedures for handling medical emergencies or other incidents.
• Report patient progress and problems to supervisory personnel.
• Observe and report changes in condition, including skin integrity.
• Provide personal hygiene to patient(s) and assist with daily living activities.
