Salmon Brook is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) with a passion for working with seniors and delivering top-quality care. Weekend / Per Diem. The role focuses on overseeing nursing operations, coordinating staffing, and ensuring excellent resident care.

The position emphasizes leadership, coordination of admissions and discharges, and maintaining high standards of patient rounds and care for residents in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Long-term care or nursing home experience required.
• Supervising experience required.
• A compassionate heart for working with seniors and making a real impact in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing department in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).
• Review staffing at the change of each shift and make adjustments to ensure all resident care needs are met
• Complete patient care rounds, ensuring high-quality care for all residents
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges smoothly and efficiently
