Job summary

HumanGood is seeking an RN supervisor for per‑diem duties overseeing nursing services and resident care. The role requires coordinating care, training team members, and ensuring adherence to policies while maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, leading care partners, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with physicians and families. A valid RN license and strong computer/EHR skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• RN license currently active and in good standing.
• BS degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of managerial experience in a related field preferred.
• Clinical observation and assessment skills required.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and EHR communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct care partners with support and direction as needed.
• Assess residents at move‑in and monitor changes for independence.
• Facilitate nursing care and involve residents in decisions.
• Ensure nursing staff follow procedures and respond to alerts timely.
• Use nursing process to identify conditions needing physician input.
• Report medical changes to team, physicians, and families as appropriate.
• Respond to emergencies, execute physician orders, document outcomes.
• Lead move‑in/move‑out procedures and maintain communication.
• Provide staff and resident education and update admin on concerns.
• Support disciplinary actions and maintain safety standards.
