Cape Regency Rehab – Part‑Time CNAs

Cape Regency Rehab is looking for part‑time Certified Nursing Assistants to join our nursing team in Centerville.

Availability

• Part‑time openings on weekends.
• 24 hours available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Pay

Weekly pay. $23 to $29 an hour, depending on shift, with shift differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Experience & Education

• Must hold an active, unencumbered CNA license in Massachusetts, have recently graduated from a CNA program, or be in the process of obtaining a state license.
• New graduates welcome.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Participate in planning and following current resident care plans for all residents under your care.
• Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly.
• Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them.
• Document accurately and completely.
• Meet personal grooming needs for each resident.
• Promptly answer call lights and ensure all are placed within reach of the resident.
• Ensure resident care areas are left clean and orderly.
• Maintain correct identification of residents (e.g., I.D. bracelets).
• Demonstrate correct safety techniques as per orientation and training processes.
• Other duties assigned by the manager.

Specific Requirements

• Knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non‑professional personnel.
• Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, including the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Willingness to seek out and incorporate new methods and principles.
• Effective communication of emergency situations to appropriate personnel.
