Job summary

Residence Inn Lincoln Downtown Haymarket invites applications for a weekend overnight Valet Attendant/Houseman. You will warmly welcome guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and ensure the cleanliness of public areas and rest rooms while maintaining a professional appearance.

You will support guest services, assist with laundry and linens, respond to guest questions, and cooperate with doorman and housekeeping teams.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Must have a clean driving record for insurance purposes.
• Must be neat, professional and well-groomed.
• Must possess good organization/time management skills.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must be able to work with little supervision.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be in good physical condition with frequent pushing/pulling/reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Extend a warm, friendly welcome to arriving guests.
• Carefully park, secure, and retrieve vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of public guest areas and restrooms.
• Assist with washing, folding and stocking linens.
• Deliver guest-requested amenities.
• Respond to guest questions about the property and local area.
• Help guests with issues arising from the parking experience.
