Job summary

The Courtyard Lincoln, managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates, is seeking a Houseperson to maintain cleanliness and appearance of public areas and corridors. You will respond to guest requests promptly and help keep carts stocked and supplies available for the day shift.

The ideal candidate has housekeeping experience, strong customer service, and flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts. Join a hospitality-focused team at a Courtyard property in Lincoln, RI.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years experience in laundry or housekeeping.
• Hotel experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Able to work morning shifts and weekends/holidays.
• Hotel brand experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Stock carts and housekeeping supplies.
• Clean furniture, elevators, glass and public areas (lobby, pool, restrooms).
• Tend laundering machines to ensure linen supply.
• Assist with housekeeping and maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Assist with shuttle service if applicable.
• Typical schedule includes 5 shifts per week: 3x 3PM-11PM and 2x 11PM-7AM.

The Courtyard Lincoln is seeking candidates for the position of Houseperson to join their team!

The Houseperson will be responsible for helping to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction by maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of public areas and corridors of the hotel.

• Responds to guest requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Stocks room attendant carts and supplies
• Cleans furniture, elevators, glass etc., in public areas such as lobby, pool, public restrooms.
• Tends laundering machines – to provide ample linen supplies for morning shift.
• Assists with various housekeeping and maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Assists with shuttle service (if applicable.)
• Typical Schedule : This positions will be a total of 5 shifts a week ( days may vary) 3 shifts 3 PM - 11 PM, and 2 shifts 11PM-7AM
