Job summary

The Residence Inn Lincoln Downtown Haymarket is seeking a Laundry Attendant for a part-time role. You will sort linens, operate washers and dryers, and maintain clean hotel linens to support guest satisfaction.

Candidates should be reliable, flexible, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work quickly while collaborating with team members. The position offers benefits and Marriott travel discounts as part of the hotel program.

Qualifications

• Must lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Sorts linens and treats stains.
• Loads soiled laundry into washers and adds cleaning agents.
• Takes wet, clean items and dries them as required.
• Sorts and folds or hangs clean, dried items.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and communicates needs to supervisor.
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs supervisor of any maintenance needs.
• Works with cleaning chemicals related to laundry.
• Follows all company policies including safety policies and procedures.
• May stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Performs other duties as assigned, such as cleaning guest rooms.
