Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Surgical Tech for the OR on a part-time, weekend/day schedule. The role supports multiple specialties, assisting surgeons during procedures and collaborating with the nursing team to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, graduation from a surgical technology program or LPN program, and 3 years of experience with Surgical Tech Certification, or 10 years total experience with certification.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology Program or LPN program is required.
• 3 years of experience and Surgical Tech Certification required, or 7 years experience with certification for total 10 years of Surgical Tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient care by assisting the physician during surgery in the OR for multiple specialties.
• Serve as a clinical specialist across service lines and maintain surgical specialties as needed.
• Perform tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse and support the OR team.
