Job summary

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED; Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Certification as a Surgical Technologist or 3 years of surgical tech experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: N/A
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred; BLS certification required.

Facilitating patient care by assisting the physician during surgery in the Operating Room (OR) across multiple specialties, performing technical and some patient care duties underRN direction.
Serves as a resource and maintains surgical specialties; participates in duties supporting the surgery department.
