Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating team. In this scrub role you will support patient care under supervision and collaborate with registered nurses to maintain safe, efficient procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technology program, and either certification as a Surgical Technologist or at least 3 years of experience. BCLS is required at hire.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; graduate of Surgical Technology program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of experience.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) on hire required; CST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties with increasing responsibility.
• Provides patient care with higher-level critical thinking and problem solving.
• Works in partnership with licensed staff and assists under RN direction.
