HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery, weekend-only shifts at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. The role emphasizes hands-on bedside nursing, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

Requires RN licensure in the state of practice with BLS certification; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Weekend schedule includes days, providing compassionate care and adherence to nursing standards across the patient care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive nursing care.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Adhere to nursing standards of care, quality measures, and state regulations.
