Job summary

WRIGHT BY YOUR SIDE IN HOME CARE is seeking a part-time on-call Backup Coordinator to support remote phone coverage with on-site fill-ins as needed. You will handle scheduling, coordinate caregivers, document visits, and uphold company policies while staying within 30–45 minutes of a call-in location.

Responsibilities include maintaining dependability for weekend shifts, responding promptly to calls, and building strong rapport with clients and staff.

Qualifications

Position Type: Part-time / Scheduled Weekend On-call Reports To: Primary Supervisor Location: Remote phone coverage & on-site fill-in as needed

Salary: Scheduled regularly two weekends a month on call; On-call base pay of $50 for each on-call day; Additional $17/hr for shifts physically worked: Compensation for mileage between patients at $.76/mile

Hours: PRN/On call 24 hours Saturday & Sunday; Any additional PRN hours requested by employee (limit 2 call ins)

Purpose of the Position: When the primary on-call supervisor is providing care in a client’s home or is otherwise temporarily unavailable, the Backup Coordinator will take over incoming calls, assist with staffing needs, communicate schedule changes, and document issues. This position helps ensure that employees and clients receive timely support while care continues without interruption.
