Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a Weekend on-call caregiver for Saturdays and Sundays, 10am–6pm. You will be on call for client calls, with compensation of $100 per on-call day, plus travel considerations within ~30 miles.

This role emphasizes compassionate in-home care, ADLs assistance, meal prep, mobility support, and safety supervision, with paid training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 18 or older.
• Must pass drug screen, motor vehicle record check and criminal background check.
• Prior verifiable experience with ADLs preferred (bathing, dressing, transferring).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients or those recovering from surgeries or injuries.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Help with mobility, plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with errands including outings and grocery shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report changes in condition and advocate for clients.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Encourage daily activities and exercises.
• Provide safety supervision.

You would get paid $100.00 each day, (Saturday & Sunday) just to hold your phone and be on call for call outs and short notice shifts. Now you will or may have to travel as much as 30 miles from home as you are the weekend on call caregiver. When you go on a call out you would get paid $100.00 and your pase pay.

Requirements:

• 18 or older
• Must be willing and able to submit to and pass a drug screen, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check
• Prior verifiable experience with all ADL's including changing, dressing, bathing, transferring (at least 1 year, family care included) *preferred
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance,and reliable transportation to and from work every single day
