Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in Virginia.
• Minimum two years nursing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing services to ensure safe, timely, resident-centered care.
• Conduct rounds to monitor resident conditions, care delivery, and staff performance.
• Respond to changes in resident condition with timely assessment and physician notification.
• Oversee medication administration, infection prevention, and clinical documentation.
• Lead weekend nursing operations and coordinate with DON/Administrator.
• Ensure staffing coverage and address scheduling concerns with established procedures.
• Ensure CMS/Virginia regulatory compliance and assist with survey readiness.
• Lead emergency response efforts and coordinate emergency services when needed.
