Job summary

Bedrock Healthcare is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing services on weekend shifts, in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and facility leadership. The role focuses on staffing oversight, quality of care, regulatory compliance, and a safe environment for residents and staff during weekends.

The supervisor will monitor medication administration, resident assessments, and coordinating interdisciplinary team input to ensure continuity of care and strong weekend operations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of nursing experience.
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekend nursing care to ensure standards and facility policies are followed.
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during weekend shifts and manage staffing coverage.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and social services to maintain continuity of care.
• Lead documentation accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide handoffs to weekday leadership and respond to emergencies during weekends.
