Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in Virginia or multi-state privilege.
• At least two years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Previous charge nurse or nursing supervisor experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS long-term care requirements, resident rights, infection prevention.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policy.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision during weekend shifts.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site nursing activities.
• Coordinate resident care, medications, and clinical documentation.
• Respond to medical emergencies and ensure resident safety.
• Communicate significant issues to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
