Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• At least three (3) years of nursing experience in long-term care.
• At least two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers, including Internet, keyboard, and mouse navigation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services staff on weekends.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations as required by shift.
• Coordinate with resident services to maintain the resident’s total care regimen.
• Interpret policies and procedures to staff, residents, visitors, and agencies.
