Job summary

Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center seeks an experienced RN Supervisor to lead a nursing team in a geriatric setting. The role requires supervising staff, monitoring care, and ensuring timely responses to resident needs on weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include coordinating care plans, administering medications, and communicating with residents, families, and the medical team. NY-state RN licensure and prior geriatric experience are preferred; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in New York State.
• Experience with geriatric/short-term rehabilitation desirable.
• Supervisory experience preferred in a geriatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Organize, oversee, and supervise unit activities and staff assignments.
• Identify and respond to patient needs in a timely manner.
• Monitor vital signs, treatments, and patient responses; document findings.
