Job summary

IRVINE NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER seeks a Nursing Supervisor to oversee a group of dedicated nurses and ensure high quality care for residents. The role involves collaborating with doctors, obtaining medications, and maintaining accurate treatment records in alignment with the care plan objectives.

The candidate will supervise nursing unit operations, coordinate staff and resources, and respond to residents' needs, including direct care tasks and documentation, to support residents’

Qualifications

• Current State Licensed Nurse or Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and nursing staff.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing unit and directing staff to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate use of personnel, supplies, equipment and facilities for safe, efficient care.
• Respond to residents needing assistance; monitor call lights and respond promptly.
• Provide direct resident care tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Explain procedures and assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Document care, monitor vital signs, and report changes to supervisors.
