Job summary

Irvine Nursing & Rehabilitation in Kentucky seeks a dedicated nurse leader to supervise a nursing unit, coordinate staff, and ensure high-quality resident care in line with the care plan objectives.

You will work with physicians, manage medications, document care, monitor residents, and participate in in-services and staff meetings. Current state license with at least 2 years of related LTC experience preferred; strong English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing unit and direct staff; coordinate effective use of personnel, supplies, equipment, and facilities to provide safe, efficient care.
• Ensure residents who cannot call for help are checked frequently and respond to signal lights/bells.
• Provide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Explain procedures to residents and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transportation; monitor health indicators and document changes.
