Seacoast Rehab & Nursing Center is currently seeking a Every Other Weekend Nurse Supervisor! Located in Gloucester, we are a short and easy commute away from Salem, Peabody, Lynn, Essex, and Danvers! We are focused on one goal: providing an exceptional experience for our residents and staff.

Come join our team! There is a weekend schedule 7:00am-7:00pm with responsibilities including supervising nursing staff, coordinating admissions and discharges, and ensuring high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered MA State License (LPN or RN) and current CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience preferred in hospital, nursing care center, or related healthcare setting; minimum one year in long-term care.
• Experience in supervision and teaching; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Manage staffing changes.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high-quality resident/patient care.
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN MA State License and current CPR certification
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
