Job summary

Seacoast Rehab & Nursing Center in Gloucester, MA is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for a role with a every-other-weekend schedule (7:00am-7:00pm). Located in Gloucester, it offers access to nearby communities and focuses on exceptional resident care.

Requirements include MA RN or LPN license with CPR, a nursing degree, and supervisory experience. Two years of clinical nursing preferred, with LTC experience valued. Join our team to lead nurses and ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered MA RN or LPN license and CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience; LTC preferred; supervision experience.
• Strong teaching, supervision, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Manage staffing changes.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high-quality resident/patient care.
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN MA State License and current CPR certification
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
