Job summary
Seacoast Rehab & Nursing Center is currently seeking a Every Other Weekend Nurse Supervisor! Located in Gloucester, we are a short and easy commute away from Salem, Peabody, Lynn, Essex, and Danvers! We are focused on one goal: providing an exceptional experience for our residents and staff.
Come join our team! There is a weekend schedule 7:00am-7:00pm with responsibilities including supervising nursing staff, coordinating admissions and discharges, and ensuring high-quality care for residents.
Qualifications
- Must possess valid unencumbered MA State License (LPN or RN) and current CPR certification.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Two years of clinical nursing experience preferred in hospital, nursing care center, or related healthcare setting; minimum one year in long-term care.
- Experience in supervision and teaching; basic computer skills required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
- Supervise nurses and CNAs.
- Manage staffing changes.
- Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
- Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
- Ensure high-quality resident/patient care.
- Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.
