Job summary

John Scott House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Every Other Weekend Nursing Supervisor for Saturdays and Sundays. The facility is located in a unique neighborhood setting within Braintree, MA and is accessible by public transportation.

The role includes welcoming new admissions, supervising nurses and CNAs, managing staffing changes, and coordinating referrals with central admissions. The candidate should hold an unencumbered RN or LPN license with CPR certification, plus a

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered LPN or RN state license and current CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, nursing care center or related healthcare setting with at least one year in long-term care.
• Experience in supervision and teaching, and computer skills.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Manage staffing changes.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high-quality resident/patient care.

Requirements for Every Other Weekend Nursing Supervisor

• Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification
