Job summary

Seacoast Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking an Evening Nursing Supervisor. Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required. The ideal candidate will supervise nursing staff on our short-term and long-term care units and oversee admissions and discharges.

The role involves supervising nurses and CNAs, coordinating staffing changes, and supporting families while ensuring exceptional resident care. Shift is Monday–Friday 3PM–11PM with split options available.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and active RN/LPN license are required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience preferred, including long-term care settings.
• Experience supervising staff and teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Manage staffing changes.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high quality resident/patient care.
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.

Requirements for Nursing Supervisor

• Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
• Weekend on-call rotation - generally once every 5 weeks
